Researchers at the Women’s College of the University of Denver found 75 percent of the nonprofit workforce consist of women. The findings of this report are in sharp contrast to claims that only 20 females are positioned as CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. In another study, women were found to prioritize a work-life balance. And, nonprofits allow for flexible schedules, which appeal to women.
