Grants ranging up to $75,000 to fund the development of regional coalitions that will work to improve the quality and scope of community services needed by persons with developmental disabilities. The purpose of the grant is to develop partnerships that can support local communities to develop informal and volunteer services to meet the unmet needs of the disabled community.

Eligibility:

  • Community-based Organizations; CBO(s)
  • Domestic public or private and non-profit entities
  • For profit organizations other than small businesses
  • Incorporated not-for-profit entity
  • Nonprofit organizations (as described under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and exempt from tax under section 501(a) of such Code)
  • Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS
  • Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
  • Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education

  • Single entities

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Individuals, not-for-profit, and for-profit agencies may submit proposals in response to this RFP.

October 8, 2010, 4:00 PM is the deadline for submitting written questions and letters of intent. Letters of intent are encouraged but not mandatory. Letters of Intent will only be accepted by fax, mail, or hand delivery. Letters of Intent by email will not be accepted.

All answers to written questions will be posted on the FDDC website during the week of October 11, 2010.
