The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida
Grants ranging up to $250,000 to support programs that promote healthy child development, educational achievement and successful life outcomes. The purpose of this funding is to help strengthen individuals, families, and communities through family-focused, community-based programming. This initiative seeks proposals with the following objectives: preventing unwanted pregnancies, reducing substance abuse, improving maternal, child and adolescent health, improving family functioning and economic stability, promoting responsible fatherhood, improving child development, and reducing barriers to adequate school performance.
