Grants for up to $3,000 to improve the quality of life in Connecticut. The foundation seeks to support organizations in achieving their civic agenda in Connecticut’s Lower Naugatuck Valley towns of Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton. Community activities supported through this grant include fairs and festivals, farmers market, upgrading playgrounds, mentoring, tutoring, sports, workshops and speakers.

Agencies with more than 2 full time staff (or more than 4 part time staff) and for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply for a grant under the Valley Small Grants Program. Municipalities may serve as the fiscal agent for qualified applicants. Must serve the towns of Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton.
