Travelers Insurance Foundation
Grants ranging up to $1 million for project, program and operating support and limited capital opportunities in the areas of education, community development, and arts and culture. Education is the primary focus of the grant program. Funding is provided to support initiatives that improve academic and career success for underrepresented youth, including public school children in grades 5-12, students transitioning to post-secondary education, and post-secondary students.
Community development funds support organizations that operate programs and services in economic development, small business development and affordable housing. Arts and culture funds are awarded to organizations that provide arts and cultural activities that enhance academic learning for low-income and underserved communities.
Contributions will be designated for operating support, program/project support, capital support, start-up funding or transitional support.

Grantmaking will be focused on the Twin Cities (primarily Saint Paul); Hartford,
Conn.; and selected locations where Travelers has a significant business presence.
Pre-applications should be submitted at least three weeks before the deadline. After pre-applications are submitted and reviewed, successful applicants will receive invitations to apply via e-mail.
