Grants for up to $20,000 to improve birth outcomes in Connecticut. The mission of the foundation is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. The grant seeks to fund research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies. Areas of focus include birth risk reduction, treating maternal chronic disease, preconception and prenatal care, and smoking cessation. Priority funding is given to organizations who are either evidence-based, include measurable outcomes or promote equity in birth outcomes.
