The McCarthy Dressman Education Foundation
Grants of $10,000 per year for the development of in- and out-of-class programs that improve students' knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the world around them. The purpose of this funding is to engage children in intellectual, creative and artistic activies in and out of the classroom. Funding is provided for projects that will enhance regular classroom curriculum or after-school activity, and/or strengthen academic experiences. In addition, projects that have secured community endorsement, expertise and facilities but require additional resources are eligible.

Eligible applicants are eduicators that:
…are employed by schools or non-profit organizations
(e.g. community centers, museums, etc.)
…have the background and experience to complete the project successfully
…have direct and regular contact with students in grades pre-k to 12
…work with students from low-income households
…are willing to work in collaboration with the Foundation
