Funding for nonprofit organizations in New York City to plan, construct or reconstruct a Capital Asset to better provide services to the people of the City. The purpose of this funding is to support projects that benefit the City. Projects may involve real property (such as construction or reconstruction or land/buildings and fixtures) or Moveable Property (such as equipment or furniture that is not attached or minimally attached to real property).

Not-for-profit cultural organizations or nonprofits with documented tax-exempt status pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and operating within the five boroughs of New York City (the “City”) may apply for City capital funds to plan, construct or reconstruct a Capital Asset to better provide services to the people of the City.
