Request a Grant Writer

Contract for over $500,000 per year to assist refugee youth transition into life in the United States. The overall goal of the funding agency is to ensure a smooth and healthy transition for families immigrating to South Florida. The proposal seeks organizations who can provide culturally sensitive services to the aforementioned population.

Responsibilities include, assessment, coordinating efforts with the school system, academic and career support, language development, and parenting education. Organizations should utilize outreach to facilitate easy access to offered services. Services must be provided Monday -Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm. Partnerships with other organizations are encouraged.

Funding priorities are youth who have arrived in the U.S.A. within the past 12 months, youth whose family is receiving cash assistance, and refugee youth who have been in the U.S.A. for between 1-5 years.
