Grants up to $20,000 for nonprofit arts organizations that provide cultural and arts programming to the community. The purposes of these grants are, (a) to help arts organizations with financial emergencies that come up and that are not a part of the organizations yearly financial plan, and (b) to help fund special opportunities that arise for arts organizations.

Up to $20,000
Portland-based nonprofit arts and culture organizations are eligible to apply for the Opportunity Grant. Additionally, all applicants must:
1. be a nonprofit arts and culture organization that regularly presents arts and/or cultural events or arts projects.
2. have a physical address in the City of Portland.
3. provide arts and culture programs and events that are advertised and open to the public.
4. be ‘current’ on all RACC grant agreements and has submitted final reports for all completed RACC grants.
If an organization is not a 501(c)3, the organization may apply only if sponsored by a nonprofit organization that meets the eligibility requirements listed above.
Applicants must submit an Intent to Apply electronically. Each applicant will be contacted after the Intent to Apply is submitted. Upon RACC approval of the Intent to Apply, an organization may submit an Application. Both of these forms are available via RACC’s Online Grant System at www.racc.org.
