Grants for projects that utilize map technology to make the world a better place. The mission of the foundation is to assist non-profits working on humanitarian projects in using and creating map technology to better serve the world population. Past projects have been created to benefit key areas, including environmental conservation, human rights, and public health. The foundation seeks applicants who can continue the innovative and creative stream of projects that have been created so far.

Projects must use one of the following applications:
a. Google Earth
b. Google Geo APIs (Earth/Maps API, Fusion Tables API, Elevation API, StreetView API, etc)
c. Google Fusion Tables
d. Google SketchUp & Google Earth
e. Google Maps for Mobile APIs

Pre-Application Information:

Application must be submitted electronically.
Funds are paid 50% up front and 50% upon completion of the project.
