Grants will be awarded to non-profit organizations for programs which address the welfare and educational needs of at-risk youth. Eligible educational programs include (but are not limited to) literacy, mathematics, mentoring, and life skills programs; eligible welfare programs include food, shelter, and clothing. A wide range of projects will be considered such as sports, arts and culture, and competitive programs; they can address the needs of homeless children, those with HIV/AIDS, and other issues which affect this population.

This grant program also includes a rather unique feature - one special grant of $15,000 will include a volunteer supplement - the participation of 10-20 of the grantor's employees as volunteers in the awardee's program.
