Multiple types of grants to provide services that benefit youth. The goal of the Foundation is to enhance the communities in which its employees reside. The funding priorities of this RFP are education and arts & culture with an emphasis in youth development. Through strengthening the quality of education and providing opportunities for youth involvement and leadership, students will be better prepared for the future. The first funding opportunity, titled Charitable Corporation, is for major projects and programs and generally totals $5,000 or more.
Another opportunity is the Community Partnership Fund. These grants generally total less than $5,000. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, with decisions rendered within six weeks. Additionally, Rockwell Collins has a matching gift program for its active employees. This program provides a one-to-one match for gifts to qualified educational and arts & cultural institutions. Gifts may be in the form of cash, check or securities. The minimum eligible gift is $25. A maximum of $5,000 will be matched for any individual employee donor during a calendar year. Organizations are eligible to receive a maximum of $25,000 in matching funds during a calendar year.

Rockwell Collins provides funding in regions of the United States where we have facilities and a substantial number of employees (generally at least 100). All requests for contributions to organizations operating outside of Rockwell Collins headquarters community should be submitted to the local Rockwell Collins Human Resources manager.
