The purpose of this funding is to promote appreciation and support for excellence in filmmaking, advance the arts and sciences of motion pictures and promote educational, cultural and technical advances in the field.
Previous grants have supported New Orleans Film Festival - Emerging Filmmakers, outreach programs, Saugatuck Children's Film Festival - outreach to underserved children and the Seattle International Film Festival - Asian Tradewinds spotlight program.
