Grants for up to $12,000 for community enhancement through quality arts programming. The mission of the foundation is to facilitate the integration of arts and culture into all aspects of community life. This RFP offers funding opportunities in three different categories: Artistic focus, community participation, and arts in schools. Applicants can apply for funding in up to two categories. Maximum funding per project is $6,000.
Applicants must assess how they can best serve the community based on the following:
Artistic Focus (AF) ~ project grants that demonstrate high artistic quality, innovation, creativity in programming and artist selection, and demonstrated ability by the artist or organization.
Community Participation (CP) ~ project grants that support cultural and arts programs and services that involve direct community participation. The project should impact participants by helping to provide them with a greater sense of self, family, community and place through learning and participating in their own artmaking experience.
Arts-In-Schools (AIS) ~ project grants that encourage and enable members of the professional arts community to work in K-12 schools and create arts-rich learning environments.
