Selected Arizona non-profits will have the opportunity to compete for an award of $100,000 in funding after participating in a series of programs which help them better communicate their organization's cause. Non-profits which are effecting social change in the Greater Phoenix area are invited to apply for the opportunity to attend a series of Coaching/Mentoring Sessions. These sessions will help attendees distill the key elements of their social impact, approach and business model into a crisp three-minute pitch. Attendance at the “Participant/Mentor Orientation Workshop” and two of the three Participant/Mentor Practice Sessions is mandatory.
Up to 8 social entrepreneurs will then be invited to the Fast Pitch Social Innovation Expo and Showcase event to make their three-minute pitch to a panel of experts and an audience of investors, business and non-profit leaders, and other members of Arizona’s entrepreneurial community. Finalists will be selected based on innovation, impact and ability to communicate their vision.
