Grants for up to $2,500 to improve community health in Massachusetts. The overall goal of the Foundation is to improve the lives of people in the area of Watertown. The purpose of this funding is to help organizations that serve Watertown develop new or continue existing programs with a health focus. Examples of activities and projects that may be funded include, but are not limited to:

• Food pantry programs or equipment needs
• Adolescent education about alcohol/substance abuse
• Programs/services fostering healthy aging
• Support programs for care-givers
• Nutrition and/or meals programs for seniors
• Programs combating youth obesity
• Programs designed to help substance abusers become or remain “clean”
• Health-related programs for infants and their families
• Supplies/tools for community gardens
• Support for health programs
