Challenge grants will be provided to non-profit organizations for programs in the areas of arts and culture, education, and health and human services. Preference will be given to Oklahoma organizations but will also fund organizations in other regions which can positively impact Oklahoma's development. Funding is available for capital projects, specific programs, and operating expenses. Challenge grants require that applicants have already arranged additional cash support, on a 1:1 basis for funds requested.
* Education - Institutions of higher learning and pre-collegiate organizations including health science centers and medical research done by educational institutions.
* Arts and Culture - Organizations in the visual arts and performing arts areas, museums and libraries.
* Health - Institutions providing health care, doing medical research, or outreach organizations employing primarily professionals from the allied health area.
* Human Services - Organizations providing services in diverse areas to the public, and specifically to the disadvantaged, people with special needs and the elderly.
