Grants for up to $40,000 to improve patient care in California. The overall goal of the funding is to ensure that the medical care experience is a positive experience for patients. The purpose of this funding is to assist clinicians in understanding the patient experience and equipping them with the necessary tools to deliver a more empathetic and patient-focused experience.

The goal of the PEAC project is to:
Devise and implement ongoing advancements in patient and staff satisfaction
Create regional showcase sites to serve as demonstration models of exceptional patient and staff experience
Develop and test standardized patient experience metrics
Link experience improvements to financial, clinical, operational, and strategic outcomes

In addition to the monetary award, selected applicants will receive one-on-one coaching sessions with experts from ExperiaHealth; peer networking and access to national experts; and national recognition (successes will be showcased across California and the nation).
