Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded to Illinois non-profits and government agencies, in the communities served by the grantor, for a variety of programs in the following areas of interest: arts and culture, community development, education, environment, health and wellness, human services, and youth. Funding will support innovative and creative programs and projects that address existing or emerging community needs, benefit a wide range of residents, foster individual and family self-sufficiency, promote volunteerism and improve the quality or scope of philanthropy within the community. Also preferred are programs that are collaborative and impact the community beyond the time of the funding.

* Annual fundraising events
* Fundraising expenses
* Conference or continuing education expenses
* Memberships or event tickets
* Political campaigns or organizations
* Sectarian activities
