Grants ranging from $25,000 to $75,000 are available to eligible organizations that work to advance specific and proven cancer control strategies across the state. The purpose of these grants is to further the goal of fighting cancer by funding research that targets the Disparities, Prevention, and Access to Treatment chapters of the Arkansas Cancer Plan.

To assist organizations interested in applying for these funds, an RFA Training Workshop (mandatory) will be held on February 14, 2012 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the downstairs conference room, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, AR. Assistance will be provided at this time for applicants seeking additional information for application development. Individuals and organizations will benefit greatly from this training workshop. Registration deadline for the workshop is February 1, 2012. Due to limited space, pre-registration is required. The form can be located on page 31 of the complete RFP.
