A program is being offered to scholars worldwide to conduct religious studies research in the United States. Junior and senior scholars who have completed their doctorate or its equivalent in the field of Jewish Studies can apply for the opportunity to work in New York with the collections of the Foundation and its partner institutions. Visiting scholars will be provided with work space, a center e-mail account and access to the Center's resources. The program does not provide a stipend or financial support.

Scholars are expected to commit to a regular presence at the Center for at least three months. Scholars may apply for a full academic year, the fall or spring semester, or for the summer. During their period of affiliation, scholars are expected to attend monthly seminars by the Center's graduate fellows and to offer a seminar presentation on their own scholarly work. Scholars who are on leave from their home institutions, independent scholars and scholars who are in between academic appointments are encouraged to apply.

Term of Contract:

Scholars who have their PhD or equivalent degree
