Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $10,000 to South Carolina nonprofit organizations and agencies for programs to help seniors stay in their homes and avoid institutionalization. Funding is intended to support innovative programs that allow older adults to age with maximum dignity and independence, and to lead productive lives. Examples of eligible programs include education programs, respite, and recreational programs.

Funding is for a one-year seed grant.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Public and private non-profit agencies and organizations are eligible to apply.

Pre-proposal Conference:

The SC Department on Office on Aging will host a virtual Grant Solicitation Workshop at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

The workshop will provide potential applicants with valuable information about the grant, the application process, due dates, and funding opportunities. It is highly recommended that all potential applicants attend the workshop.
