Grants for up to $15,000 for environmental protection in New York and Vermont. The purpose of the available funding is to address water quality, toxic substances, living natural resources, recreation and cultural heritage resources, economics, education and outreach, monitoring, and data management. Projects funded through this RFP must address one of these areas and must include the active involvement of local communities.

Four categories of grants are available: (1) Pollution Prevention Grants, (2) Aquatic Invasive Species Spread Prevention Grants, (3) Shoreline Protection and Habitat Conservation Grants, and (4) Education and Outreach Grants.
