Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs
Non-profit organizations located in Iowa are eligible to apply for matching grants for programs that provide employment opportunities for State residents while enhancing the cultural and artistic resources of the area. Priority will be given to projects that include collaboration, and partnerships and funding may only be used for salaries, wages, and associated benefits.
The Iowa Community Cultural Grant Program awards grants that range from a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $25,000. Examples of previously funded projects include but are not limited to performing arts events, museum exhibits, historic restoration and archeology projects, docent training, folklife and other festivals, public art projects, and ethnic heritage projects that enhance Iowa's cultural climate while providing employment for Iowans.

Eligibility is open to:
* city government, county government and tribal councils, and
* Iowa nonprofit (504 and 504A) and federally tax-exempt (501(c)(3)) organizations established for the promotion and development of one or more of the following activities:
the arts, history or historic preservation, culture, ethnicity, tourism, economic development, festivals, and municipal libraries
1:1 matching grants are required.
