Grant to a Washington nonprofit organization in an eligible region to support operations. Funding is intended for a nonprofit organization that has had an extraordinary impact on the community it serves. Grant funding will be used to enable the organization to reach a higher level of expertise and achieve sustainability. Eligible organizations must be located in Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan counties.

Having an endowment fund at CFNCW provides a nonprofit agency an annual income disbursement to support its operations while the principal of the fund grows in perpetuity.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who is in good standing with the IRS and who has been in operation for at least three (3) consecutive years;
- Organization must be reasonably healthy and stable and must not be experiencing any overwhelming threats to survival (e.g. major financial crisis, major leadership turnover, or significant understaffing);
- 100% of the board must contribute financially.

The following are not eligible:
- Fiscally sponsored programs;
- Nonprofit organizations with budgets less than $25,000 and/or do not file an IRS Form 990;
- Private and public schools, private and public universities;
- Churches;
- Foundations;
- Political organizations;
- Membership organizations, associations and civic groups such as Rotary or Kiwanis

This is a two-step evaluation process. After applications are submitted, a subset of finalists will be asked for an interview.
