Two categories of grants, one of up to $7,500 and the second of up to $5,000, will be awarded in New Jersey to non-profit groups to showcase local history. The first grant is for general operating support and provides assistance for the basic costs of operation, for example: programming, preservation of collections, salaries, marketing, etc. The second grant is for special projects and it supports history organizations, museums, schools, libraries and similar organizations with collections or programming relating to Union County and New Jersey state history.
