Grants of up to $10,000 to Western Washington Jewish nonprofit organizations to enhance the lives of girls and women throughout the region. Funding is intended to support programs that advance social change through women's empowerment. Eligible programs must be ongoing programs of applicant organizations and serve a minimum of 15 participants each year.

Grants are capped at a maximum request of $10,000 total for the two-year period.
The grant operates on a two-year cycle. Fiscal years begin on July 1 and end on June 30 the following year.
Contracts are for two years. Funding for the second year will not be awarded until the organization completes and submits a program evaluation form indicating that the funds have been properly used and that the program plans to run as initially presented to the Special Initiatives Fund Committee.
