Grants from $40,000 to $80,000 over two years will be awarded in the Mid-Willamette Valley, Oregon area to non-profit tax-exempt health and human service organizations to help shape a social support system of community organizations that collaborate on common outcomes and systemic changes in the impact areas of education, income, and health. This funding opportunity was established to build capacity to support individuals, families, and communities to build a foundation for long-term positive change.

Applicants may identify two or more Focus Areas within each Impact Area, and may also select focuses within multiple Impact Areas.

2 years, July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2015

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

-All non-profit tax-exempt health and human service organizations serving residents in the tri-county service area of the United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley: Marion, Polk, and Yamhill, Oregon are eligible to submit proposals if they are part of a collaboration.

-Currently and previously funded projects and/or organizations may apply and compete for funding if they fit within one of the Impact Areas outlined.

Pre-Application Information:

Only one application per project will be accepted. If a collaboration is seeking funding for a second project, a separate proposal must be submitted under the appropriate Impact Area(s) with at least some different or additional partners.
