Scholarship grants are being awarded to individuals of Syrian origin, up to 32 years old, to study towards an academic degree in Israel. Individuals born in Syria, or whose parents or grandparents lived in Syria, who currently reside in Israel are invited to apply. Preference will be given to applicants applying for a Bachelor's degree. Graduate students and doctorate students can apply if they are submitting research papers on topics related to the history, folklore, tradition, or Jewish heritage of Damascus.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Individuals born in Damascus, or child or grandchild of a native of Damascus who performed at least two years of army service (unless cleared to not serve by army doctors).
