Grants ranging from $30,000 to 35,000 per year (for three years) to Washington community organizations based in the greater Seattle area that are working to: (a) promote social justice on behalf of those living on the margins due to factors such as poverty, disabilities, discrimination, and lack of education; and/or (b) bring about long-term, systemic changes in economic, educational, governmental, legal, and other systems on behalf of such populations. These grants are intended to provide significant funding to enable qualifying organizations to successfully create significant social changes.

Plymouth Church Seattle seeks organizations that involve the people being served, empowering them within the organization to shape its vision and operations.

Term of Contract:

These grants are three-year grants. Grant terms for the recipient selected in 2013 are from approximately July 2011 through June 2016.


Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must serve the greater Seattle area.

Change Grant recipients will generally not be eligible for any other grant support from Plymouth Church during the term of the Change Grant.

Plymouth Church will not fund:
1. Endowments
2. Capital projects
3. Organizations that provide only emergency services
