Grant Description
Grants of up to $10,000 to New Hampshire nonprofit organizations serving eligible locations to improve access to care for local residents. Funding is intended to support general operations. Access to care includes the fields of mental health, food security, substance use disorder, housing, senior services, transportation and logistics, culturally appropriate care, awareness of services, care coordination, and patient motivation. Eligible applicants provide services in Strafford County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Organizations must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations that do not have public charity status may apply for grants if another public charity acts as a fiscal sponsor.

Funding is limited to organizations providing services in Strafford County, New Hampshire. If your organization is headquartered outside of Strafford County but considers Strafford County to be a primary service location, you are eligible to apply.

Ineligible
The following organization types should not apply:
- Public and private schools
- Hospitals
- Colleges and universities
- Religious organizations
- Municipalities and government entities
