Grants of up to $2,500 to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to support programs and activities that benefit children with developmental delays and disabilities. Funding is intended to support and advance projects, programs, and services that take place in Lancaster County and benefit children who reside in Lancaster County.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grant awards range between $250 and $2,500.

Term of Contract:

The funding period for this grant is July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grant applications must meet all of the following criteria in order to be considered for funding by the S. June Smith Foundation:
- The applicant organization must be a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, as determined by the IRS.
- The project, program or service must benefit children with developmental disabilities and delays.
- The project, program or service much occur in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and must benefit children who reside in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
- The funds from this grant cannot be used for specifically religious purposes, such as religious instruction and proselytizing.

Pre-Application Information:

The completed grant application and accompanying materials are due Tuesday, June 9, 2020, by 4:00 PM.

All applicants will be notified of the S. June Smith Foundation’s award decisions by June 23, 2020.

Funds will be disbursed to successful applicants in July 2020, unless otherwise arranged.
