Grants of up to $750 to South Dakota organic food producers and processors to assist with the cost of obtaining organic certification. Please note that these reimbursement funds are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. Food producers and processing operations can qualify for reimbursement from multiple scopes of certification, including crops, livestock, wild crops, and handling.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
NOP certified producers and processors are eligible to apply.
Operations that hold certification for more than one scope (crops, livestock,etc.) are eligible for a cost-share payment for each scope.
Pre-Application Information
Reimbursements will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis until funds are depleted. The final application deadline is November 11, 2016.
The program will reimburse applicants with operations within South Dakota for 75% of the cost associated with certification or re-certification to the National Organic Program.
