Grants of up to $10,000 to Virginia nonprofit organizations and agencies in eligible areas for programs that improve the local quality of life. Funding is intended to support projects and activities within the focus areas of vibrant communities, economic development, education, and health and wellness. Eligible programs will positively impact residents in Matthews County.

In some cases, MCF may take a more proactive approach to address important community issues. The foundation will seek to identify community initiatives that advance solutions to the community’s greatest challenges using innovative strategies and a collaborative spirit. The foundation encourages grant requests that are innovative, collaborative, measurable, and sustainable.
