Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and/or a qualified government entity and located in the Funding Source's service area are eligible to receive grants.

The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) offers fiscal sponsorship services to groups or organizations that do not have 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt status.

Proposals that direct funding to state, regional, or national organizations even when some local individuals might incidentally benefit are typically not funded – this precludes funding of activities intended to raise money for these organizations.

Pre-Application Information:

The 2022 Grants for Greater Manhattan application period is now open. Applications will be accepted until 03/14/2022.
