Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $10,000 to Kansas nonprofit organizations and government entities in eligible locations to benefit the community. Funding areas include basic needs, community development, children and youth, arts and humanities, education, health care, the elderly, mental health, and preservation, conservation, and beautification. Grants may be considered both for one-time, discrete activities or for activities likely to require on-going funding. Grant activities must benefit the Greater Manhattan area.

Typically, proposals should request no more than $10,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and/or a qualified government entity and located in our service area are eligible to receive grants.

The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) offers fiscal sponsorship services to groups or organizations that do not have 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt status.
