Overall Goal:

Maintain and increase cultural expression by preserving and strengthening the means of producing events and exhibits featuring arts, heritage and humanities, and by increasing public access to and public participation in those events and exhibits in our communities. 

Projects must address priority(ies) for Hood River County as outlined in the Cultural Plan (see http://hoodriverculturaltrust.org/cultural-plan/).

Priorities and Overall Strategy:

Priority #1: To promote multicultural understanding, interchange, and appreciation in Hood River County by offering grants to both individuals and organizations.

Priority #2: Support facilities used for cultural performances and exhibits.

Priority #3: Increase visibility of cultural expression throughout the county.

Priority #4: Increase potential access to cultural activities by coordinating the advertising, scheduling, and admission to events or activities.
