Grants to British Columbia charitable organizations and societies to meet existing and emerging community needs in eligible regions. Funding may be used for projects that address the areas of disabled individuals, the environment, seniors, social welfare, education, health, arts and culture, delinquency prevention, poverty relief, and prevention of substance abuse. The Foundation supports projects to help build healthy, vibrant, and livable communities in the Prince Rupert region.
The grant-making fields of consideration are programs and initiatives focused on the following areas:
Educational needs
Social welfare and health issues
Programs for aged
Programs for the disabled
Preservation and protection of the environment
Advancement of the arts
Prevention of delinquency
Prevention of substance abuse
Relief of poverty
The PRRCF will only consider grant applications to fund the acquisition or repair of fixed or tangible assets.
- Charitable organizations and societies are invited to apply.
Ineligible
- The Foundation cannot consider requests to fund ongoing programs or general operating expenses.
- The Foundation will not grant to projects that have already started or are otherwise already underway.
Pre-Application Information
Grant Applications will be received from March 1st, 2023, to April 30th, 2023. Successful applications will be contacted by May 30th, 2023.
