Estimated Size of Grant:

Phoenix Foundation typically will fund up to 30% of a proposed project, but may, at its discretion, fund up to 100% of a project’s costs.

Term of Contract:

Grants Completed - June + 1yr

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible applicants are registered Canadian charities and qualified donees as identified under the Income Tax Act. Under special circumstances, host agency relationships may be arranged for groups that normally would not qualify for funding. Grants are not made to individuals or businesses.

Agencies without a CRA Registered Charity # cannot apply directly to community foundations. Agencies may be able to qualify to apply for grants by partnering with a ‘host’ agency with a CRA Registered Charity # who then becomes the applicant.
