Grants in the form of in-kind donations to USA schools that are seeking to improve the safety of their learning environments. The ultimate goal of these grants is to provide schools with the security solutions they need to be able to focus their energies on providing a high-quality education for their students.

Applicants will have an option to select what type of security solutions they are interested in from the following list:
Access Control
Intrusion Alarm Systems
Video Surveillance
Fire and Life Safety
Classroom Locks and Exit Devices
Lock Down Solutions
Visitor Management / Remote Entry
Ballistic and Blast Resistant Doors and Glass
Online Security Management and Reporting
Intrusion and Video Monitoring Services
Security Site Surveys
Biometric Authentication (Access Control and Attendance)
Master Keying Systems and Keying Protection
Duress / Panic Device and Tracking Software

The school with the most votes will win $200,000 in STANLEY Security installed products and services. Three runners-up will win $100,000 in STANLEY Security installed products and services. Thirty-nine schools will receive a Stanley Crisis kit in the daily sweepstakes (valued at approximately $50 per day).

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Contest is open only to schools located in the 48 Contiguous United States, and the District of Columbia (excludes Alaska and Hawaii).

Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor and its subsidiaries, Realtime Media LLC, Kaleidoscope Marketing Group, Stanley Security Solutions, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, Contest, fulfillment and marketing agencies and agents, (collectively, “Sponsor and Contest Entities”) their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to submit entries to the Contest.

How It Works:
STEP 1: School principals, teachers, and other school staff can nominate their schools from September 13th to October 28th on the Stanley Security website.

STEP 2: School administrators, teachers, students, parents and local community members will get the chance to vote for their favorite school from November 5th to December 13th.

STEP 3: The school with the most votes will win the grand prize, and three runners-up will be selected as well. Each vote for a school also counts as an entry for the school to win daily prizes, so don’t forget to vote daily!

STEP 4: Winners will be notified in December and prizes will be awarded in 2014.
