Texas School for the Deaf Foundation (TSDF)
Grants of up to $1,000 to Texas teachers, administrators, and school staff for creative and innovative approaches to teaching children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Funding may be used for instructional equipment and materials as well as activities that support teaching and learning. The mission of Texas School for the Deaf Foundation is to strengthen and sustain language, academic achievement, and career pathways for deaf students at TSD and across Texas.
Selection Criteria & Evaluation Rubric
-Support the Texas School for the Deaf School Improvement Plan
-Potential to impact student growth. Sometimes projects give in-depth life-changing assistance to a few and other times, projects offer an enhanced opportunity for many students.
-Creative and innovative approach
-Degree to which the proposal is clear and logical
-Degree to which the outcomes are measurable and demonstrate student growth
