Grant Description

Grants averaging between $5,000 and $17,000 to North Carolina non-profit organizations offering a broad range of high-quality programs that benefit the poor and needy or the sick and infirm. Preference will be given to charities with a record of using money wisely and efficiently, without excessive overhead. Priority will also be given to applicants demonstrating how grant funding would make a significant difference for the organization.

Organizations must qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Geographic Focus: The Trust has a practice of primarily supporting organizations located in the triangle region of North Carolina.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications must be submitted through the online grant application form (https://www.grantrequest.com/SID_574?SA=SNA&FID=35054), or through the alternative accessible application (attached below) designed for assistive technology users.

Applications are accepted year-round and grants are made annually; however, applications must be submitted by November 1, 2013 for the December 2013 meeting.
