Grants to individual K-12 public school teachers who are working in the Carter County area in Oklahoma. The purpose of these grants is to provide financial assistance to enable teachers to attend professional development meetings and/or conferences, with the ultimate goal of improving teachers' skills and abilities.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

1. Applicants must currently be employed by a public school district in Carter County, Oklahoma.
2. Applicants must currently be teaching in an elementary or secondary classroom.
3. Applicants must have at least two years of teaching experience in Oklahoma prior to the conference or meeting for which this grant will be used.

Please Note: Applicants who have previously received an OFE grant for professional development are not eligible to reapply for three years. Applicants who will be first-time attendees to their conference will be given priority.
