Grants to North Carolina nonprofit organizations and local and tribal governments in eligible areas for projects that address the needs of women and children. Applicants must attend an information meeting prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended for programs within the focus areas of financial and educational insecurities, child abuse, foster care, and childcare insecurity. Eligible applicants are located in and serve Cumberland County.
As the pandemic has exacerbated the situation of many women and children in our community, the following Focus Areas have been selected for the 2020-2022 grant cycles:
