Grants to New York public and private nonprofit agencies and organizations in eligible locations for programs to benefit residents. Funding is intended to benefit low- to moderate-income residents. The program is intended for initiatives in the areas of economic development, housing rehabilitation, infrastructure and services such as youth services, senior services, and employment training. Programs should take place in Dunkirk City.
The annual grants are provided on a formula basis to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons.
