Grants averaging $5,000 to Cheyenne, Wyoming nonprofits for children's programming, services to youth and the needy, vocational assistance to youth, assisting disabled persons in regaining useful lives, and sports and cultural activities.

The amount available for funding is generally $5,000 per grant request, although larger requests will be considered.

The Foundation requires the grant money to be used within one year of the receipt of the funds.

Generally, all recipient organizations must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations under the Internal Revenue Code.

Programs must be used to benefit the Cheyenne community.

Applications for the first grant cycle of 2017 will be accepted from non-profit organizations from February 1st to March 15th.

Announcements on grant awards will be made in April 2017.
