Grants to Southampton Town, New York nonprofit organizations for programs that provide services relating to sports and recreational activities, environmental programs, and visual or performing arts presentations. The programs should provide a service that is uniquely suited for Southampton Town and is currently unavailable.

Annually the Town of Southampton offers Human Services (HS) grants and Cultural Arts and Recreational (CAR) grants to certified 501(c) organizations that provide services to Southampton Town residents.

Human Service grants assist social services organizations that provide social and financial services such as counseling and psychotherapy services, health care services, child care, or educational services.

Cultural Arts and Recreation grants assist organizations that present visual or performing arts and recreational programs.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be insured and certified 501c(3) nonprofit organizations that provide a viable service to Southampton Town residents.

Pre-Application Information:

The submission deadline for all applications is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018.

Completed applications may be mailed to the address included on the application, dropped at the Citizens Response Center in Southampton Town Hall, or scanned and emailed (see Contact Information below).

The Southampton Town Board approves all grant awards by a Town Board resolution. Recipients are notified by mail following the Town Board meeting in which the resolution is passed, usually the second Town Board meeting in January.
