Grants to Laramie, Wyoming community recreation providers, clubs, and organizations to carry out recreation projects that benefit the local community. Funding may be requested for recreation-related projects such as facilities, programs, construction, equipment, maintenance, and operation.

The City of Laramie is accepting proposals from community recreation providers, organizations, and clubs for fiscal year 2019 community recreation projects.
Proposals must be submitted no later than 3:00 PM local time on the 15th day of December 2017.
-December 15, 2017 - City of Laramie, Parks and Recreation and Grant Analyst staff members will receive and review all funding proposals for completeness and assess the impact on community recreation within the City.
-January 10, 2018 - Staff recommended funding proposals will be presented to the Parks, Tree and Recreation (PTR) Advisory Board at a special meeting to be held at 6:00 PM at the Laramie Community Recreation Center. All agencies submitting funding proposals are required to attend the PTR Advisory Board special meeting to provide a maximum 5 minute presentation on their funding proposal and to answer any questions the PTR Advisory Board members may have concerning your funding proposal.
-January 11, 2018 - The PTR Advisory Board will host a special meeting at 6:00pm at the Laramie Community Recreation Center to finalize the Board recommendations that will be forwarded to the Laramie City Council for consideration at their February 6, 2018 regular meeting. All agencies are invited to attend the finalization meeting and regular meeting of the City Council if they so choose.
-The final recommendations of the City Council will be submitted to the Albany County Recreation Board for consideration by March 1, 2018. Once the ACRB receives grant requests from the four (4) governmental agencies, they shall schedule a meeting to evaluate, discuss and make recommendations for grants for Fiscal Year 2019.
