Grants of up to $2,000 to Washington performing and visual arts organizations offering innovative, high-quality arts and cultural programs and events for children and youth living in the South Puget Sound area. Preference will be given to organizations that exhibit one or more of the following characteristics:

- Organizations that serve the residents of the South Puget Sound region, with a total annual budget between $100 and $500,000.
- Organizations with proposals that will promote meaningful opportunities in the arts for young people.
- Organizations with a youth-oriented Social Justice mission.
- Organizations that demonstrate need, whether creating new opportunities or sustaining existing programs with a proven track record.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

You can apply for this grant if you can answer "yes" to the following three questions:

1. Are you an existing non-­profit, for-profit, governmental, or community organization?
2. Do you have a specific financial need, i.e. art supplies, artist-in-­residence, funds for a specific program?
3. Does your organization provide art opportunities for young people in the South Puget Sound area?

Encore Arts will not consider:
- Organizations that discriminate against race, color, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, age, creed, religion, heritage, or sensory, mental, or physical ability.
- Religious organizations will only be considered if the services and programs offered do not discriminate against race, color, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, age, creed, religion, heritage, or sensory, mental, or physical ability.
- Organizations outside of the state of Washington.
